What does the Mad Scientist do to love the Earth?

I do a lot of things to keep my small family on the sustainable side.

However, for my reading hobby - Way Of Life I try to read eBooks.
Not only do I get to carry a library with me at all times but I have the love in my heart knowing that I helped save a tree.  The feeling that I am helping the future generations.

Save a Tree – Read an e-book Button

If you have an eReader please grab this button to post on your side bar and on your eBook review posts.

This button and support is hosted by For The L♥ve of Reading!

Yes!  Right here we help support the Earth!

The website has been redesigned and a new Save A Tree sign up as been added for anyone to add their eBook Reviews to the list.  --->  Here!

Oh yes!  We love Reading but we also love to save Trees!!
What do you do to love the Earth?
I'd love to hear about it!

For the record, I'd totally wear that green dress made of lettuce.

As for Earth day, I have my kindle, that I love. It's nice being able to take my books with me so easily. And my saving of the Earth is pretty trivial, but in my family, we don't waste anything! Also, I'm so anti-litter it's not funny, so my girls know everything goes in the garbage. In Albania, where there father is from, garbage is everywhere, all over the streets and in the beautiful surroundings. It's horrible to see so much plastic damage everywhere.

Well, I don't have a Kindle or read eBooks... (terrible, I know. But ebooks are just nuh-uh for me.)
I try to be sustainable by recycling, using public transport and also small things like using the backside of a paper, turning an electronic gadget off rather than putting it on stand-by if I don't use it, turning the water off when washing my hair... Little things, but better than nothing.
I'm thinking of getting a Kindle but with my bad eye-sight and my prejudice against eReaders, I don't think it'll happen anytime soon...

@Jen: I just noticed it is made of greens, it's so cool, id totally wear that too. And I support you on your green attitude!

@Gin: Ah those little things are where i fail... I have very good intentions but almost always end up forgetting to turn the gadgets off. Trying to work on it though
Kindles are awesome, and one of the great things is that you can make the letters bigger. And it's not like having a cell phone or a computer in front of you because it has no background light.

@Gin: Like Leo said, the Kindle is awesome if you ever to get an ereader. It has no back light like a computer or cell phone, so it's like electronic ink (literally). You can enlarge the font to huge or make it small. My eye doctor said it's the same as reading a regular book, for my eyes. It's why I won't switch to an ipad or color nook. The backlight would kill my eyes worse than they already are.

@Leo: IKR! And thanks, :D.

@Ginny I agree that best thing about the eReaders is that you can make the font bigger! Which I do just for reading ease and because I can. I also enjoy that there is no backlight!

@Everyone! Yup, I so love that dress and would sport it for sure! Not sure about the wilting. I'm guessing it would be a one day wear. LOL!

@Jen I use the color Nook mostly at night when I can put it on the Night fuction but normally fall alseep after a half an hour.

I still have a giveaway open.  I will be closing it this coming Friday.  April 30th.  6 books are up for grabs if you are interested --->  Here  ;)
