Blog Hop

Here's the question for this weeks Hop hosted by Jen at  Crazy For Books. This weeks question is:

What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?

What can't I just get into. Hmmm, well I really read any genre in YA. Outside of YA I've tried to read some science fiction and found that, generally, it's not my thing. There have been a few that I've enjoyed but there's always been a more major genre or part to the book, and science fiction is just the base or a small part in the book. What can I say? I'm a fantasy girl not scientific. Classics also fall into this question. I'm a huge dialogue person, because without dialogue characters don't interact and the story doesn't go anywhere. And I also hate long descriptions of objects or a small thought about something that turns into an inner debate about the meaning of life. Both of theses things I tend to find in classics and it just doesn't make me love them. I don't hate them, and even really like some. But they aren't the section I run to when I go to the bookstore or library.

Hey, hopping through. I have the same problem with Classics. I'm a big fan of dialogue and interaction!

I'm such an eclectic reader, I can't imagine only being interested in YA. But then again, YA entails so much that I'm sure you never get bored.
