First line of Book:"Guess who?"

Review:This was a disappointment. A huge disappointment.

Where can I start? I'll start with the bad things.
Our dear heroine completely pissed me off. She was whiny, boring and a wuss. Really. I was so tired of her after the first 50 pages or so. Her attitudes almost made me pull my hair off, seriously. I'm not even going to tell you what she did, because we'd be here all day long.
And Damen. Are you kidding me? Why the hell couldn't they just be together? It was way too much drama.
Now, Damen is totally not like Edward. Because, you know, a guy who is over protective, that breaks into a girl's room and that is completely, inhumanly gorgeous, yet aloof and sometimes strangely bipolar is so not Edward-y Because a guy who says "I cant stay away from you" is not. Edward-y. At all.

Right...

The plot was predictable, and, not surprisingly, I was not surprised by what they are (the series is called The Immortals, do you want any more hints than that?). However, I did not dislike the writing and, even though Ever (who names their kid Ever, anyway?) doesn't like her psychic abilities, I thought they were pretty cool. I'd skip school, like some people in the story too! They were very underdeveloped, and that was a pity.

I would recommend this for Paranormal Romance lovers and...that's all.
Rating: 2/5
Quotes from book:
"I guess by now I should know enough about loss to realize that you never really stop missing someone-you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole of their absence."
"You never know what you have till you've lost it"

Ugh, I did not like this book either. I rated it with two kisses as well. (If I wrote a review.)

There was just something that just seemed so juvenile. Come on readers are smarter then that! Geez!

Thanks for a great review about a not soo great book!

You are awesome!

To right ladies. I am also one who did not much care for this book. I thought it could of had something but it fell short all over the place. *sigh* *heavy sigh*

Now I am weary to pick up her other novel.
*soft sigh*

Well, have a pleasant week!

I'm so with you on this. The writing was so poor and the characters horrid. Not a great book.

Sad to say that I read the first 3 books in this series (supposed to have 5 total). I wanted to know what happened to the characters, but it gets worse as it keeps going. Plus, her friends annoy the hell out of me and it gets so much worse. I couldn't even bring myself to read the last 2 books. It was like the Evernight series all over again. *shudders* Thinking about the time I wasted reading it really angers me. Oh well, I'll survive.
