I recently read Sex, Murder, and a Double Latte by, Kyra Davis. I really enjoyed this book, it was funny and kept me interested from the beginning to the end. The main character, Sophie Katz, is a mystery writer that finds herself in the middle of her own mystery. It was a very interesting set up this I really enjoyed. I was shocked by who the killer was, I never would have expected it. I liked the supporting characters, Including Sophie's "love interest" Anatoly and Sophie's best friend who owns an adult toy store which leads to a few giggles it and of itself! Overall I thought this was a very good start to a series and I personally will be continuing with it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery with some humor mixed in. I would give it 3 and a half kisses!

5 Kisses: It was so amazing I kissed and licked every inch of the book

Good review Angela! :D
Sounds like a fun interesting book. The sex shop adds a twist to the story! ;). I wonder how the double latte's are worked into the story. I could go for one myself. I love some good coffee as much as a good book. Especially when it is NOT starbucks. And when it is fair trade. Yum. I think I might make a pot right now. *smaks lips*
hmm i may read it
I really like this cover. I think it's a chick with a gun, really the "I can kick anybody's butt" aspect is my favorite part. :D
A gun and a latte. What a mix? I'm looking forward to finding this one at the library.
Hawk...well she is a starbucks fan but it's actually a carmel brownie frapaccino that Sophie loves....something like that anyways :)
P.S. Elyssa, you slept my name wrong
Sorry Angela, that was my bad! My kiddos were attempting to help me publish this post. Didn't go too well. I will fix it now. :D
